Facebook is rolling out a few updates currently with a new look to the News feed, featuring larger photos, and a revamped layout to Brand Pages.
The update is rolling out slowly. Some pages are receiving the option to update, others are asked to “Join Waitlist.”
With the new Brand Page update, the one-column feed makes a return, instead of the timeline-like feed its replacing.
Other items have been relocated. The Company Description found below your page and Page Tabs are now being moved to the left column.
Admin tools and navigation, including Insights and the Activity Log, can now be found at the top left in a new menu including Page, Activity, Insights, and Settings.
The Build Audience tab is still around, too, but it’s moved away from the other tabs, to the right of the page. Here you’ll have access to your Ads Manager account. You’ll also see on the right column a nice overview of stats for the past week, including Ads running (if any), Page Likes, Post Reach, Messages and Notifications.
According to Facebook, all Brand Pages will be updated with this new layout starting March 27.
